What personal data do we process?
Primarily we collect data that you consciously give to us, e.g. when creating an account, subscribing to our service or generating an image.
Other data will be automatically collected when you visit placid.app or socialsharepreview.com. These are mainly technical data like your browser, OS or the time of your visit.
If you contact us (e.g. via email), your data is processed to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfill the contract for dealing with your inquiry.
We process the data of our contractual partners and other clients to fulfill contractual services. The processed data, the purpose, extent and the requirement of processing are governed by the underlying contractual relationship.
These data include the master data of our contractual partners (e.g. names), contact data (e.g. e-mail addresses) as well as contractual data (e.g. the purchased plan, communication in the context of the purchase,..);
We don’t directly process any payment data. Your payment data (e.g. account data) will only be processed by our external payment provider Paddle. We don’t have access to any of your payment details (e.g. your credit card number) and only get a payment confirmation or the information that your payment has failed.
We are using these data solely for the operation, security and optimization of the service.
On the basis of your consent or of a legitimate interest in initiating a business transaction we send you information regarding your account or content and information around our product, including e.g. answering support requests.
With the verification of your e-mail address, we will store your IP address and the timestamp of your verification.
You can revoke your consent to our storing of your data and to receive e-mails at any time free of charge. You can unsubscribe by sending us an informal request. For revoking your consent to send you information linked to your account status (like invoices), you need to delete your account by sending us an informal request.
The distribution of our emails is carried out through the SMTP services by Sendgrid. Your e-mail address will be sent to the SMTP API of Sendgrid while we’re sending out e-mails, but it will not be stored on their servers.
How do we receive personal data through the use of our website?
Access-Data / Server-Logfiles
Our webspace provider is collecting data about every access to the offered services through server log files.
The processed data includes the name of the visited webpage or document, date and time of the visit, the amount of data transmitted, whether our server successfully delivered a web page, browser type and version, the OS of the user, referrer URLs, IP-addresses and the inquiring provider.
We process these data based on our legitimate interest in ensuring system security, managing the website technically and optimizing service quality.
Our website is using Google Analytics, an analytics tool from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics is using cookies – small text files that are saved on your computer and that allow the analysis of the usage of our site. The information gathered by the cookie is sent to Google’s servers in the USA and stored there.Your IP-address is anonymized. Your full IP-address will not be sent to Google’s servers in the USA, except in exceptional cases where the address will be sent first, and then shortened before it’s stored. According to our orders, Google is using this information to analyze the usage of our website, create reports about the user’s activity and to offer other services that are related to our user’s activity and the usage of the web.
